Welcome

I am a Professor in the Department of Politics at Princeton University, specializing in applied quantitative methodology for the social sciences. My research interests lie at the intersection of political economy, political science, statistics, and data science, particularly on the development and application of quantitative methods to the study of political phenomena. At Princeton, I am also the faculty director of the Data-Driven Social Science initiative, where our mission is to support cutting-edge quantitative research in the social sciences, and an Associated Faculty at SPIA and ORFE.

For over a decade, I have worked with my co-authors developing methods for Regression Discontinuity (RD) designs. All our work is implemented in multiple software packages available at our RD packages website, where you will also find links to our reviews and practical introductions.
